All Hallow's Eve

Well here we are again at the night that all us good Christian folks pull out our costumes of all styles , theme and description and decorate our normally welcoming homes with all things possible to spread fear. All so we can celebrate a truly pagan holiday. Kids are jumped up on sugar and adults have a reason to get up off the couch and interrupt their dinner to ogle at young kids trolling for loot. Ahh, if only October 31 could come more often:-)

All sarcasm aside, Halloween is always a fun time of year and a great time of year to dig out the camera. Remember these innocent (and sometimes scary) moments in your child's life. It only comes once a year and a new theme is set for each time, so have fun. Bring them into character, bump your ISO and open your aperture and use that natural night lighting for dramatic effects (remember to keep your shutter at 100++, just to be safe), use unusual angles and drag the shutter to catch action. Of course the success of your photos depends on the co-operation of your kids. Don't pressure them, it is a night for fun, so get what you can and then make sure you stocked on candy for the oncoming barage:-)

P.S. If you can't tell, my little guy, Jaron, was a spy..XP6..for Halloween:-)
